Although Ree Drummond is largely regarded as one of the most popular bloggers in the world, that doesn’t mean she hasn’t been caught in hot water. In 2017, Ree found old wounds dragged up when The Food Network aired an old episode of The Pioneer Woman, where Ree decided to make Asian-inspired chicken wings for her friends and family. However, they were less than impressed. After her husband, Ladd, proceeded to ask, “Where’s the real wings?” Ree removed the tray and replaced them with traditional buffalo wings and laughed that she was “Just joking.” Numerous viewers complained about the anti-Asian remark on Twitter.
