She had another plate of “American” wings in the oven ready to be eaten – and her family and friends knew it. So why did she make the first plate of Asian wings? So she could prove that the “other” wings, the “American” wings were better? This whole debacle got kind of swept under the rug, but there were many people who considered it to be fairly racist. And as much as we try to look for the positive in this scenario, it’s hard to perceive it otherwise.
