Another wild story that Costner is associated to was disrupting the baseball player, Cal Ripken Jr.’s, record-breaking playing streak. Apparently, whilst Carl’s wife was staying at home, Costner began his affair with her.
Costner had become close to Ripken Jr. as he played baseball players in a few film roles. The two were allegedly caught red-handed, and Ripken Jr. pretty much roughed him up. Following this, the Baltimore Orioles were forced to cancel their upcoming game due to the incident.
