Around the time he released his second album, Blake married Kaynette Williams. They were both from Ada, Oklahoma, and had started dating during high school. She eventually became his road manager at the beginning of his career, and they got married in Gatlinburg, Tennessee in 2003.
During their small wedding ceremony, Blake sang Conway Twitty’s “Julia” to Kaynette. But the marriage didn’t last long, as they were divorced in 2006 – and Blake began dating singer Miranda Lambert the same year.
