Blake and Miranda collaborated together a few times, but the most emotional project they worked on as a pair was when they cowrote the song “Over You” for Miranda to record.
It was about how Blake felt about his brother Richie’s passing after a car accident years before. The song was awarded CMA Song of the Year in 2012. It also got the title of Single Record and Song of the Year when the 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards took place.
