Just as 2013 began, Blake released a new single: “Sure Be Cool If You Did.” Like so many of his other singles, it was very popular, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs.
Shortly after that, he released his eighth studio album, called “Based on a True Story.” The album was No. 1 on the country music charts, with its singles – “Boys ‘Round Here,” “Mine Would Be You,” and “Doin’ What She Likes” – all reaching No. 1 on the charts, too.
