The year 2013 continued to be fruitful for Blake, as he began promoting his album “Based on a True Story,” embarking on his “Ten Times Crazier Tour.” That tour was so popular that he extended it throughout 2014 and then eventually 2015.
Additionally, in 2013, he won two big honors at the CMA Awards. The Country Music Association presented him with Album of the Year for “Based on a True Story,” and also named him Male Vocalist of the Year.
