In July 2001, after the success of his single, Blake released his first album through Warner Records. It was titled “Blake Shelton” and was produced by Bobby Braddock.
Aside from “Austin,” the other popular singles on this album were “All Over Me” and “Ol’ Red.” Thanks to the positive reception to these three singles, his album became certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), which means it sold more than 1 million copies.
