Unfortunately, the problems were just going to get worse for Chloe, Rohan, and Pearl, because even more diagnoses put her chances of survival even lower down the ladder. As well as her problems with her heart and her brain, Pearl was also diagnosed with metabolic bone disease, which required constant medicine and attention. As if that wasn’t enough, Pearl also struggled with her liver and spent most of her early days being incredibly jaundiced. Chloe and Rohan were beside themselves, was their baby girl even going to survive the first few days of her life?
