However, it wasn’t just Pearl who was making an excellent recovery. With each week that went by, Rufus and Henry were regaining their strength, putting on the pounds, and showing the world that they meant business. After a whopping nine weeks in the hospital, countless tests, treatment after treatment and constant supervision, the two boys were finally allowed home to live with their older brothers. They immediately settled into life outside of the hospital and flourished even more outside of the intensive care unit. Sadly, Pearl wasn’t with them.
