This past January, a ship washed up on the shore of western Japan. The small wooden vessel contained a badge with the images of North Korean leaders Kim Jong Il and Kim Il Sung, as well as a cigarette box with Korean writing.
Tragically, unlike the Sam Ratulangi, the boat’s crew was very much present onboard – but not alive, as officials discovered the bodies of seven crewmen. This phenomenon is sadly not highly uncommon, and the explanation, it appears, has nothing to do with the supernatural.
