Florida appears to be a hotspot for shipwrecked ghost ships as visitors at Melbourne Beach discovered one September in 2017.
An unoccupied sailing boat washed up on the shore and when people went to investigate they discovered something very unusual. All that was left on the ship was a velvet rose and a mannequin holding a sign saying “The beatings will continue until morale improves.” In a bizarre turn of events, the ship was washed out to sea due to hurricane Irma, but the owner couldn’t recover it because he was in jail.
