Jonny Fairplay was a contestant on Survivor: Pearl Islands and he constructed what the host of the show, Jeff Probst, called “the greatest lie in Survivor history.” Probst said that Fairplay was a completely despicable person but that he was a producer’s dream to work with. Probst even banned Fairplay from any event that he would be at. Fairplay returned for Survivor: Micronesia, however, he asked the other contestants to vote him off the island in the first round so he could go home to his pregnant girlfriend.
