Amber Portwood was another teen mother who appeared on 16 and Pregnant and then Teen Mom in the same season as Farrah Abraham. The Indiana native dropped out of high school after getting pregnant at the age of 18. Amber and her then boyfriend Gary Shirley welcomed their daughter Leah in 2008. Portwood got herself into a lot of trouble when she was convicted and sentenced to 5 years in prison for allegedly possessing illegal substances and failing to complete a rehab program. Portwood was released 4 years early.
