Another thing parents are supposed to know how to do? Sew. Although for some moms and dads, sewing up a kid’s dance costume or Girl Scouts uniform comes easy, for most of us who lack such skills, it can be a nightmare.
However, while using a hot glue gun may seem like an easy solution to stick your daughter’s precious Girl Scouts badges on if you don’t know how to sew, it may not be the most reliable method.

Let’s face it, as much as we can try and pretend that we are the world’s most perfect parents, it just isn’t the case. We all have our flaws, we are all tired and sometimes just want to sit on the couch for a bit, what is so wrong with that?
Well, nothing – unless your daughter decides to share your “favorite hobby” with her entire class. She couldn’t have said that mommy likes to cook, clean, and be a perfect mother instead?
