Denis Compton, seen pictured on the left, was quite famous back in the late ’30s to late ’50s due to his career as a professional cricket player. The English athlete also was an accomplished soccer player for the Islington, London team Arsenal.
Nick Compton, his grandson, followed in his late grandfather’s footsteps as a professional cricket player himself. In order to honor his grandad, he recreated some of his old photos and adverts to highlight their astounding resemblance.
