John Travolta’s first big-screen breakthrough would come in 1977, with the disco epic that is Saturday Night Fever. Using practically every talent he’d learned at drama school (we knew those dancing lessons would come in handy), the movie took the world by storm at the height of the disco era.
His big-screen debut was so good, it even earned him an Academy Award nomination. Not bad for your first big movie!
