Travolta has always been a kind-hearted soul, and the first to jump at the chance to help out those in need. So when he heard of the devastating news of the earthquake in Haiti, back in 2010, he knew he had to do something.
Loading up his personal Boeing 707 with the type of stuff regularly required in an environment after a natural disaster, Travolta flew over to the little island to help. He told interviewers that he couldn’t ignore the devastation, especially when he knew he had a plane he could use to provide aid.
