Between 1988 and 2009, the couple never went more than two years without having a child. With each new addition, the family grew bigger, and the Duggars faced the growing strain of keeping everyone in control.
This prompted them to enforce some incredibly strict laws in their household, ones that would influence their kids’ lives forever. A lot of them were focused around how to behave to ensure that no-one was engaging in inappropriate behavior. Unfortunately for the parents, that didn’t seem to resonate with all of the children.
