Michelle Ryan took on the role of Zoe Slater when she was just 16 years old, and we soon got to watch her grow up before our very eyes. However, it’s safe to say that she didn’t have the most normal life in Walford.
Her family are loud and volatile, and they are constantly arguing. Yet, things were kicked up a gear when Zoe found out that the woman she thought was her sister was actually her mother. In one of the most famous scenes of all time, Zoe shouts “You’re not my mother!,” to which Kat Slater replies, “Yes I am!”
