When Michelle Collins was offered the chance to take on the character of Cindy Beale in 1988, she was originally only cast in 11 episodes. However, as she made her presence known on the screen, the producers soon realized that they needed to keep her.
She added a sense of drama to the show, and that’s exactly what fans at home were tuning in for. Cindy made a name for herself as the wife of Ian Beale, but she soon proved to us that she wasn’t the most faithful of wives.
