The character of Martin Fowler has always held a dear place in the hearts of Eastenders fans, but you might have noticed that the character has changed over the years.
From 1985 until 1996, Martin was played by Jon Peyton Price, before James Alexandrou stepped in to take over. As the son of Arthur and Pauline Fowler, Martin was always in the midst of the drama in Albert Square. He was also known for his on-and-off relationship with Sonia Fowler, who was played by Natalie Cassidy. James Alexandrou has since been replaced by James Bye.
