In 1985, June Brown had the pleasure of taking on the role of Dot Cotton, and it’s fair to say that she got the luck of the draw. Unlike many other characters on the show, Dot is an extremely lovable character that has warmed the hearts of many.
As the owner of the popular laundrette in Walford, Dot is often at the center of drama on this show – but she always has the best advice to give. This character also won us over with her adorable marriage to Jim Branning.
