Although we were introduced to John Altman’s character as Nick Cotton, he soon developed a nickname as “Nasty Nick” – and you can probably understand why. He is the ultimate villain and one of the worst people to ever make their way onto the show.
In fact, he is the main link between the body that is found in the first ever episode of Eastenders, because he is the one who put it there. In the end, Nick got his comeuppance when he was faced with his own fate.
