Deepak was lucky enough to have five wonderful years on the show, even if his character wasn’t exactly that wonderful. Unlike many of the other stars of Eastenders on this list, Deepak has not continued his acting career.
Thankfully, he hasn’t left the world of show business altogether, because he has actually founded his own production company. Within this, he has written and produced countless television shows and movies. In 2017, he was celebrated with a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) because of his work.
