Although Kevin and Marie had agreed on a one and a half million dollar donation, the pastor was suing Marie because he alleged that she went back on a verbal agreement. Kevin said that Marie had reportedly promised to donate 10% of her winnings and $1.5 million is not 10%. Although there was no written contract, Kevin claimed that they made a verbal agreement and he had already made financial commitments based on the promise of 10%.
