Lex van den Berghe was the third finalist on Survivor: Africa and was considered the antagonist of the show. Once the tribes merged Lex was overcome with an intense bout of paranoia especially since the Tribal Council votes were not looking good.
By the end of the show, Lex started to get on everyone’s nervous so they devised a plan to oust him from the competition. Even his ally turned against him true Survivor manner and he was kicked off the show to finish in third place.
