Taylor Lautner was born on February 11, 1992, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Just a couple of years later, his parents welcomed his sister, Makena, into the world – and they immediately formed a lifelong bond.
Growing up, Taylor found himself gravitating towards the world of martial arts and he eventually went to his first karate lesson. By the time that he was just 8 years old, he had obtained his black belt and had already made a name for himself on the junior circuit. He also had the pleasure of training under the famous Michael Chaturantabut.
