In recent times the actor has been in various TV shows and movies, but John has never landed anything as successful as the show. Deeming his work to be worth more, John was able to negotiate a pay rise from the eighth season where his salary rose from the initial $350,000 an episode to a staggering $900,000 – quite the step up!
