While it might not be anybody’s desire to be compared to entities like Sonic the Hedgehog or the Grinch, at least those are living, sentient beings. Being compared to an inanimate object seems much worse to us, if only because it would reveal a pretty unflattering truth about one’s personality.
While this person’s red hair is certainly striking – we need to know which dye gets them that gorgeous tone – it has engendered not altogether unreasonable comparisons to a stop sign. At least they’re doing their bit for road safety.
