During their court case, Shane Maguire’s lawyer stated Nicole purposefully kept Harper away from him – using a deceitful ploy to plead her case. In return, Nicole’s lawyer noted that Nicole had to keep the two-year-old Harper with her during certain periods of his life, as she was still breastfeeding the toddler.
Although many mothers do continue to breastfeed at this age, many fans have questioned whether this was a legitimate reason to keep the child with her, while preventing the father from spending time with him.
