The whole Sephora store is treated like a theater, so the way that the store is run often feels like a performance. The workers are called “cast-members,” the managers are “directors,” and even the floor is called the “stage.”
Some employees even report feeling like they are always acting in a play and performing for their clients. It sure sounds like it can be a lot of work to maintain the polished presentation that is always offered at Sephora!
