While Lauren Moore just needed a resume to get a a part time job to help her bring in some pocket money, resumes are quite important. They’re the first thing that managers see when they are hiring, and they play a large role in the process.
Lauren never sent her fake resume in to any potential employers, of course, but many people do submit resumes that are not entirely truthful. According to a survey, over half of hiring managers ha come across someone who was lying on their resume.
