This photo is pretty fascinating to say the least. As you can see here, there are a whole bunch of small pebbles. The pebbles slightly vary in size and in color. When you look more closely, however, there is actually an insect in there.
Can you guess which type of insect it is? It’s a grasshopper. Grasshoppers can camouflage in order to protect themselves from predators and this one is no different. It has the same colors as the pebbles and it blends in so well!
