Many types of animals are able to camouflage themselves. The reason why they do this is to hide from their predators. By blending into its surroundings, they are able to protect themselves from getting hunted down and eaten.
The owl that’s seen in this photo, is doing the same thing. It’s able to perfectly blend in with the tree trunk. The reason why we are able to see the owl easily, is because it’s perched on someone’s hand that is wearing a yellow glove.
