With Dr. Perry Cox, the medical comedy Scrubs had an unexpected breakout hit on their hands. A cynical, joke-cracking wisenheimer, he was one of the show’s most popular characters.
Scrubs’ producers said, “Hey, why not try that again?” and created Dr. Miller, who was like him in every way except for the fact she was a woman. They soon discovered there very well could be too much of a good thing, and she was never seen again after appearing in several episodes of season three.
