The party girl rocker brought some street cred to Gossip Girl, playing Jenny Humphrey for four seasons of the hit show. Amusing, considering her breakout role was the angelic Cindy Lou Who in How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
Momsen seemed to be more interested in her musical career with The Pretty Reckless than with acting, however, while the show’s producers disliked her “unreliable and erratic behavior,” as one source put it, not to mention her penchant for disrobing during concerts. While Jenny wasn’t killed off – she left to study in London – Momsen’s acting career was.
