The scamming epidemic has been labeled as the ‘grandparent scam’ as people track down senior citizens alongside all their personal information, including their name, address, phone number, and the names of any of their grandchildren or close relatives. A lot of the information is available to these people online. As for the details they can’t find, they can often be bought or stolen from other sources.
