After the traumatic events in Cecil Rodgers story, all staff at Walmarts across the country are trained to look for any signs that someone may be being tricked into sending money to one of these scammers. Some of the signs they are warned to look out for include purchasing hundreds of dollars worth of store credit, or gift cards, as well as trying to send across an unusually significant amount of money. The store is working to ensure this doesn’t happen to another of their customers again.
