Buddy Garrity, played by Brad Leland, is the owner of the town’s Chevrolet dealership as well as an influential former Dillon Panthers football hero. He lives and breathes football, and often reflects back on his glorious college football days at the University of Texas at Austin. He is known for having a big mouth, and is not afraid to speak his mind, especially to Coach Taylor. However, him and the coach are able to maintain a good work relationship despite their differences.
