Billy Riggins is portrayed by Derek Philips. He is Mindy Collette’s husband and Tim Riggins’ older brother. He also acts as his brother’s legal guardian since both of their parents are absent from their lives. A talented golfer, he was about to go to college on a full golf scholarship, but was forced to give it up in order to take care of Tim. Similar to Tim, he played for the Dillon Panthers when he was in high school, and later on becomes a coach for the new Dillon Panthers super team.
