Blue’s career started way before his role on Friday Night Lights, and has been appearing in several TV series and films since the mid ’80s. However, his performance on the hit football series is what he is still most well-known for today. After the series came to an end, he continued with his recurring role as General Armbruster in the crime-drama series The Event, followed by the role of Detective Joe Price in the Grey’s Anatomy spin-off, Private Practice. Since 2014, Blue has been taking a break from the world of acting.
