Aimee Teegarden played one of the show’s leads as Eric and Tami Taylor’s daughter Julie Taylor. Julie starts the series as a freshman at Dillon High School, and quickly becomes the girlfriend of Matt Saracen. In the earlier seasons, she gets into a rebellious phase, making some poor choices along the way. Her and Matt end up breaking up and going their separate ways, but reunite in the fifth season and eventually get engaged. In the season finale, they are shown living happily together in Chicago.
