The fabulous Connie Britton portrays the role of Tami Taylor, Eric Taylor’s strong and loving wife. She starts off the series as a guidance counselor at Dillon High School, but later on is promoted to school principal. Connie’s views are a bit more open than the rest of the conservative Dillon community, which ultimately leads to her leaving the school in order to take a job as Dean of Admissions at a Philadelphia college by the end of the series.
