Even though Allison continued to compete at events, her head was no longer in the game. She knew that at every competition she attended, there were people in the audience who were only interested in staring at her body.
It made her feel uncomfortable, but there was nothing she could do to stop them. The focus on her appearance was starting to impact her mental health significantly, and she felt the need to constantly lock doors behind her so she couldn’t be followed. She never asked for any of this.
