Another main character of the show is the adorable Lily Aldrin, played by Alyson Hannigan. She is Marshall’s wife, Robin’s BFF and one of Ted’s closest friends. She met Marshall and Ted during college, and they have stayed close ever since. She works as an art consultant and was formerly a kindergarten teacher. During the sixth season, she finds out that she is pregnant and gives birth to a boy named Marvin. Lily is a loving and loyal friend and wife, but she is virtually incapable of keeping secrets.
