Nazanin Boniadi took on the role of Nora from the sixth to ninth season. Nora is Robin’s co-worker at World Wide News who meets Barney at MacLaren’s Pub. The two hit it off and end up talking about laser tag the entire night. The following night, Valentine’s Day, Barney sees Nora at his laser tag tournament. She takes Robin’s place as his partner, and the two start dating. It gets so serious that they even start discussing their future home together. However, after Barney has an affair with Robin, the relationship comes to an end.
