Virginia Mosby is Heather and Ted Mosby’s mother, which she had with her first husband Alfred Mosby. After she divorced him in 2006, she married hippie-style Clint in 2010. Ted is uncomfortable with his mother’s new husband and their relationship. Ted, therefore, refuses to give a toast at her wedding since the couple is too open about their relations in public and it grosses Ted out. However, a week later he gives his mom and her husband the toast in person and finally accepts their love and marriage.
