Back when Lucy Hale’s acting career was just getting started, she appeared in an episode of How I Met Your Mother’s second season as Robin’s little sister, Katie Scherbatsky. When she comes to visit her big sis in New York, Robin is shocked to discover Katie’s promiscuous and rebellious ways. Although Robin tries to protect her, it is eventually Ted who talks her out of making a poor decision. Katie appears again during the ninth season on the day of Robin’s wedding.
