Emily Osment played Lilly, Miley’s best friend in the series. In the first episode, Miley revealed her true identity to Lilly, and while she felt betrayed at first, that Miley hadn’t told her before, she quickly forgave her, and the pair were inseparable for the remainder of the show.
Lilly also doubled as Lola Luftnagle when supporting Hannah Montana. She was essentially Miley’s tomboy counterpart, with a love of skateboarding and surfing, which eventually prompted her to begin a relationship with Oliver in the third season of the show.

Before joining the cast of Hannah Montana, Osment was already a famous child star. She had starred in the Spy Kids film series as Gerti Giggles in 2002 and 2003. She also gave her voice in Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch, and Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 & 3, around the same years as Hannah Montana was aired.
She also voiced various roles in Family Guy from 2012 until 2017, as well as playing the lead role, Gabi Diamond in the American sitcom, Young & Hungry between 2014 and 2018.
